Seek Ye First

"Seek Ye First" (Matthew 6:33) from The Evening Musicale, is comprised of Voices of Faith, Notre Dame Liturgical Choir, Notre Dame Folk Choir, and local Michiana singers. This song served as a project to build relationships with singers in and outside of the Notre Dame community.

He'll Be With You

"He'll Be With You" was written for the 2019 Notre Dame Folk Choir pilgrimage to East Africa. Roberson was tasked with writing a song that would serve as a guide throughout the choir's travels to Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. Based off of the story, Road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35), the refrain says: 

By your side, He'll be with you
In trials you go through
And no matter where you may be
Just know Jesus is there with you
And He'll never leave you

Shortly after recording the video on March 2, 2020, students left for spring break, not knowing that ahead was the beginning of a global pandemic. As a response to our world's unpredicted shift, this song was released as a response to COVID-19. Throughout its circulation, Tina Knowles (Beyoncé's mom), shared this on her instagram page.
